Abstract
National security is reflected in the ability of a country to ward off external threats against its political life or national interests; Therefore, national security is the goal and the strategy is the method of maintaining itThe meaning of national security strategy is the policies and patterns through which the country tries to provide the necessary conditions to ensure its national security.The purpose of the present research was to examine the necessity of paying attention to environmental hazards in the national security strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This research has been done with descriptive analytical method and library studies. According to the subject matter, in terms of the goal, the present research is of the type of applied research with an analytical approach, and in terms of its nature and method, it is part of the descriptive research of the descriptive-analytical category. In applied research, using the cognitive background and information provided through fundamental research to meet human needs and improve and optimize tools, objects and models in order to develop welfare and comfort and improve the level of human life.
