Analysis of factors affecting sustainable security in Yazd province with emphasis on desert areas

This research aims to explain the factors affecting the sustainable security of the deserts of Yazd province and to measure the impact of each of these factors on sustainable security in these areas. The present research is classified as descriptive-analytical research in terms of method and is applied in terms of purpose (type). After collection, the information from the research questionnaires was entered into the SPSS statistical software, and then the desired results were extracted and analyzed. Using statistical data analysis, the current security situation in the deserts of Yazd province was examined. The statistical population of this research consists of specialists and experts in the desert field and educated individuals in this field. 65 people were selected by distributing and sampling from the statistical population, and by distributing the questionnaire and analyzing the data in SPSS software, the ranking of the factors affecting the sustainable security of the deserts of Yazd province was carried out. The research findings show that military and security factors had the greatest impact on the sustainable security of the deserts of Yazd province. After that, economic, cultural and social factors, political and finally geographical factors have been ranked in order of importance. These findings indicate that maintaining security in desert areas is highly dependent on the presence and activity of military and security forces, and at the same time, economic, social and cultural, and political factors also play a significant role in the sustainable security of these areas.
