The purpose of this research is to investigate the potential of coastal and marine tourism in the southeastern coasts of Iran.
The current research is applied in terms of purpose. Also, the method of collecting information is documentary, library and field. In the library section, by studying the available documents and data, the study of tourism in Makran region has been investigated and the activities related to coastal and sea tourism have been extracted. In the field part, the opinions of the experts in the field of tourism were extracted and then the development strategies of Makran beaches were formulated and analyzed in the relevant software.
The research findings are arranged in two sections, library and field. In the library section, most of the researches that have been done in connection with this area were examined, in order to compile the tourism potentials of this area in both marine and coastal areas. In the field section, the data extracted from the library studies were compiled along with some field data.
The results of the field studies show that Makran region is not in a good condition in terms of tourism. Therefore, it is necessary to consider an optimal strategy for it. Coastal and sea tourism in the banks was in a weak and threatened situation. In such conditions, defensive strategies should be adopted for the "development of coastal and marine tourism on the shores of Makran".
